Neil Young makes it in the Grammy Hall of Fame
The legendary Neil Young is representing Canada at the 56 annual Grammy Awards along with Drake, Michael Buble, and Robin Thicke.
“It’s a great honor,” Neil says. “I’m not really an awards kind of guy, but it’s great. I appreciate it. The older I get the more appreciative I am.”
Psychedelic Pill, the 68 year-old’s latest album with his band Crazy Horse, is up for Best Rock Album, and his 1970 album After the Gold Rush is finally being inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Back home in Canada, Neil was celebrated a little earlier on in his 46-year career.
“I was put in the [Canadian Music] Hall of Fame in 1982,” he says. “That was a long time ago.”
