Gillian Anderson’s playlist
Gillian Anderson is a workaholic.
The X-Files star just can’t tear herself away from her day job.
“I love it and it’s kind of all I can do,” she laughs.
Gillian has a number of projects on deck. Come springtime, the actor can be seen in Bryan Fuller’s TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s 2011 best-selling novel American Gods.
Then Gillian makes her return to the big screen with Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winner Glenn Close in the upcoming take on Agatha Christie’s mystery Crooked House.
Gillian also stars in the romantic thriller Andorra alongside Clive Owen, Toni Collette and Guy Pearce, and in the historical drama Viceroy’s House with Harry Potter’s Michael Gambon.
All expected to be release within the year.
In addition to these gigs, Gillian was recently booked for the political thriller Official Secrets starring Sir Anthony Hopkins, Harrison Ford and Natalie Dormer, which is currently in its pre-production phase.
The lady is not all work though. When Gillian has a moment to herself, she loves disconnecting from it all with music in her ears.
“I have a few favorite bands, probably one of my most favorite bands is Radiohead,” she says. “The best concert of theirs I saw was many years ago in Oxford. I don’t know if you have heard their recordings of it, that was extraordinary.”
Here’s a playlist of Radiohead tunes from that unforgettable performance during the band’s Kid A/Amnesiac Tour stop at South Park in Oxford England on July 7 of 2001.
