Lady Gaga’s Joanne World Tour is back on track

The North American leg of Lady Gaga’s Joanne World Tour is set to kick off again after coming to a halt due to the superstar’s health issues.

The outing, which began on August 1 in Vancouver and paused in September, resumes starting with a rescheduled show date at Montreal’s Bell Centre on Friday, November 3.

The make-up concert comes after the cancellation of her September 5th performance.

“Allo Montréal, je vous adore mes petits monstres,” Gaga says in a shout-out of appreciation for her fans in the francophone metropolis.

After saluting the city in French and telling her little monsters that she adores them, Gaga goes on to promise concert-goers her all.

“It’s important for me to give my Canadian fans something that I feel they earned,” she says. “I feel like they really earned an incredible performance.”

Gaga has similar special treatment in store for her fans in Brazil as she canceled her headlining set at the Rock in Rio Festival as well.

In addition to these cancelled gigs, the international sensation postponed the European leg of her Joanne World Tour to rest and recover from the severe chronic pain she’s been experiencing. The tour which was planned to start in Barcelona on September 21 and end on October 28 in Berlin has since been re-booked and will now kick off on January 14 in Spain.

This isn’t the first time Gaga has pulled the plug on a tour due to health problems.

Back in early 2013 she was forced to cancel a huge chunk of her Born This Way Ball to undergo hip surgery.

Gaga’s medical emergency was the result of moving forward with the first half of her international tour despite a serious injury that she hid from everyone, even those closest to her.

Details of her surgery and recovery were also kept tight-lipped and tucked away safe from all the tabloids and pop culture vultures.

As much as the headliner loves basking in the spotlight, she appreciates some good old fashioned privacy and maintains a balance between the public eye and closed doors.

“I believe that I’m private and public. You choose what the public views and what the public sees of you,” Gaga says of her personal life and struggles.

These days Gaga is more open about her mental and physical battles. She now speaks out about her mental health and chronic pain with the hope to expand research, further educate and raise awareness.

“I feel an obligation to make the world a better place and I hope I can make a difference,” she says.

Gaga is one of the biggest stars on the planet and has decided to use that paramount platform constructively and positively.

The superstar also says she has learned not to take her position for granted.

“Every single day I say such a deep, deep thank you to the higher powers for giving me the privilege to make music and follow my dreams.”

Now, with her Joanne World Tour back on track, Gaga is chasing her wildest dreams around the globe.
