The New Cities’ playlist

The New Cities may have postponed the release of their sophomore album Kill the Lights, but these boys from Trois-Rivieres,QC aren’t leaving their fans high, dry and unsatisfied.

The band is offering “C.L.O.N.E,” a track from their forthcoming effort, as a free download on their official facebook page to quench cravings until the rescheduled release date.

The New Cities don’t take their public for granted and their fans’ happiness is top priority.

“We can’t survive without our fans.” admits synth player Nicolas Denis. “We have a special connection to them and we’re always trying to find new ways to connect.”

On Tuesday, September 13, The New Cities are reaching out to fans with a special offer of 100 tickets to their album release party. These limited tickets include entry to the exclusive event, a poster and an autographed copy of their new album, Kill the Lights.

The event is going down at Montreal’s le National on September 26 and tickets are on sale through the venue’s box office. (Detailed info here)

Following the release party, The New Cities kick off their tour and promise a high energy party, satisfaction guaranteed.

“We work a lot on our shows. We were a live band before we were a studio band,” Nicolas says. “The shows have always been our strong side and are always about having fun.”
