Eisley’s playlist

For Texas indie rock quintet Eisley blood is thicker than water.

“We just don’t know anything else,” says guitarist/vocalist Sherri DuPree-Bemis.

Sisters Chauntelle, Sherri and Stacy, their brother Weston, and cousin Garron, formed the band when the youngest of the bunch, Stacy, was but 8 years old.

Sixteen years later, Eisley is going strong. The secret to the band’s success lies in their family ties.

“Because we all grew up really close, we know how to communicate so well, I mean we’ve been around each other our whole lives. That’s big and it definitely helps longevity,” Sherri says.

Eisley just announced the completion of their a forth full-length album, Currents, self-recorded and produced in their home studio in Tyler, Texas. Fans can look for the recording later this spring.

Here are a few songs Sherri found on her iTunes Most Played list.
