Ali Faulkner’s playlist
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 beamed just enough light on rising star Ali Faulkner to put her on Hollywood’s radar. Look at her shining at the L.A. premiere last fall.
The Missouri-born beauty joined the cast of The Twilight Saga as Bianca, secretary to the Volturi, starring opposite Michael Sheen.
“My scene takes place about 30 seconds after the ending credits,” Ali explains. “I come in and deliver an important notification to the Volturi. Now chaos will ensue.”
Ali’s role in the saga may be small, but the experience is immense and invaluable.
“To be any part of this, big or small, is so great and wonderful,” Ali says. “I mean it’s Twilight. They have hundreds of girls auditioning for this.”
For a moment there, Ali didn’t think she’d land the role and the audition nearly didn’t happen.
Exhausted from working nights on the set of the upcoming horror flick, Boneboys, and with just one afternoon to nail an Italian accent, find the perfect outfit and pull together a video audition, Ali just didn’t think it possible. With time and masses of aspiring actresses against her, who could blame her for feeling a little incapable?
“I rarely have a negative outlook, I was just being realistic,” Ali says. “But then I thought, this is a really good opportunity and it might not come around again. I can do this. I’ve got to at least try.”
Ali beat the odds and here we are.
