Dragonette’s playlist

2012 Juno nominees Dragonette ignited on the Canadian electropop scene with their 2007 debut Galore and their 2009 acclaimed follow up Fixin to Thrill.

After teaming up with French DJ Martin Solveig , the trio charred their mark on the rest of the world with the internatioanl hit single “Hello.”

Fueling their fire, the hot track is nominated for Dance Recording of the Year and Dragonette is set to perform at the award show.

With temperatures rising and a man on each arm, frontwoman Martina Sorbara reveals that leading Dragonette to international stardom is nothing like directing a boys club.

“There’s no watch your language. We’re all like smelly boys,” she laughs referring to her husband Dan Kurtz and drummer Joel Stouffer.

“I make fun of the guys and I’m probably bitchy sometimes, but I can do that. I’m the girl and they’re not,” she teases.

The teasing doesn’t stop there. Dragonette started leaking sneak peeks of their upcoming album on facebook.
