Robyn announces 2019 tour

Now that Robyn released her album Honey worldwide, the Swedish star is ready to turn out an international tour to go with it.

The North American leg of Robyn’s trek will kick off in LA on February 23 with stops in 10 other major cities including Seattle, New York, Boston, Toronto and Montreal.

“I love touring and performing for my fans. That’s what I feed on,” Robyn says, looking forward to hitting the road.

“And I really like my crowd, it’s a queer audience in the true sense of the word. Black and white, gay and straight, old and young. My live audience is so diverse and I’m really happy about that.”

Fans will get to hear Robyn perform her new songs that make up Honey like the album opener “Missing U,” and concertgoers can expect some favorites like “Dancing On My Own,” “Call Your Girlfriend” and “With Every Heartbeat.”

Robyn’s 1997 hit “Show Me Love” is also known to find its way on a setlist even though the singer has released more remarkable and significant songs since then.

“Sure, ‘Show Me Love’ is a really old one, but it’s still a great song,” Robyn says. “I still do it live because it still makes sense to me. I’m proud of all my songs.”
