Johnny Galecki’s playlist
“I’m better at physics than I am at singing,” Johnny Galecki admits.
But that didn’t stop the actor from joining his Big Bang Theory co-stars in a musical number at an Alzheimer Association charity event, A Night at Sardi’s.
The group banded together at the fundraiser last week to perform “Time Warp,” from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, marking their fifth year supporting the cause.
Last year the geek squad performed “Let the Sunshine In” from the rock musical, Hair, and in 2011, they tried their hand at “Friendship” from Cole Porter’s Anything Goes.
Clearly Johnny and his pals are die hard musical fans, and aren’t afraid to show it, but there’s something Johnny actually loves more than musicals, Motown.
“My mother was Gladys Knight’s assistant and so I grew up on all the free Motown albums that she would bring home,” he says. “I love that stuff.”
Here’s a playlist of signature albums you can find in Johnny’s collection.
