Scotty Johnson’s playlist
The hideous hillbilly forest freaks from the Wrong Turn franchise are back.
The latest installment, Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, serves as a prequel, uncovering the origin of these repulsive cannibals.
Stunt performer/actor Scotty Johnson stars as one of the villains who terrorize a group of friends seeking refuge from a snowstorm within the walls of an abandoned asylum in West Virginia.
If that’s not unsettling enough, Scotty admits that he enjoyed every second of it.
“I loved playing the character Saw-Tooth,” he says. “With my background in stunts we were able to utilize my skill set and the director was really able to push the limits to maximize the insanity of this film.”
Scotty got lucky with Wrong Turn 4. In addition to playing Saw-Tooth, Scotty was casted in the role of Charlie, an orderly in the opening sequence, and his band, The Blackout City Kids, provided two songs for the soundtrack.
Here’s a gig that embodied acting, music and stunt work. That’s a step closer to the perfect role, one that Scotty could work his lust for poker into.
Right on time for the release of Wrong Turn 4, Scotty pulls his five-song playlist together with a photo stripped of makeup and prosthetics.
