Tiffany’s playlist

Tiffany is about to make a full-blown comeback.

The 80s icon, famous for the nostalgic hits “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been,” will make her return this year with a brand new album A Million Miles.

Tiffany’s ninth studio album follows after 2011’s Rose Tattoo, her official full length debut in the country genre.

The crossover shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, this direction is all natural for the retro pop star.

“It is where I started out,” Tiffany says over the phone from home in Nashville.

At the tender age of 10, Tiffany made her debut on the Ralph Emery Show in Nashville. Her renditions of Juice Newton’s country hit “Queen of Hearts” and the legendary Tammy Wynette’s “Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad” changed her life.

Thirty years later Tiffany has come full circle and she is ready for a new start.

“It’s my time to get out there again and do my thing,” she says.

Tiffany has been in and out (mostly out) of the spotlight over the last 15 years and there’s a good reason for that.

“I became a mom,” Tiffany explains. “There were times that I passed up opportunities to stay home and be with my son. He’s the best thing that’s happened to me. He’s my priority and I want to be the best mom that I can be.”

With Tiffany’s son Elijah now all grown up, music is taking its place in the front seat.

“I will always be a musician and I don’t ever want to leave the music industry. I love music and I love my fans.”

And Tiffany’s fans love her back. They’ve showed their support since day one, and the stats prove it. Over the span of her career, Tiffany has sold over 15 million albums.

“I’m still in awe of it all. Those are a lot of albums,” she laughs. “I’m so thankful and so happy. I enjoy that people still like my music and that they still like me.”
