K.J. Apa’s favorite Riverdale moments are with Luke Perry
So many are mourning the loss of Luke Perry. Among them is Luke’s Riverdale costar K.J. Apa who says his favorite moments working on the hit series are those he shared with Luke.
“The Riverdale cast is great, I love working with them all, but my most memorable moments on and off-set are with Luke,” K.J. tells me.
Luke played Fred Andrews, a simple, honest man with a moral code and heart of gold, and father to K.J.’s Archie.
Since Riverdale premiered back in 2017, anyone watching has been witness to Archie and his dad’s undeniable bond, something K.J. says actually didn’t require any acting effort.
“It’s so natural and I know our strong relationship translates on screen,” K.J. comments. “Me and Luke have had some really special moments that I’m lucky and blessed to have. Luke is the biggest legend and he taught me a lot about acting, the business and a lot about life. I’m so grateful. I love him.”
